Rotanak Oum
President, Co-founder
Rotanak Oum was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and currently resides in the United States. His passion for Cambodian rock music has been a defining part of his life for the last three decades. Mr. Oum's preservation efforts have taken him all over the world in pursuit of rare records which he painstakingly restores and digitizes for today's audiences. His mission is simple, save the music and make it part of Cambodian future.

Nate Hun
Vice President, Co-founder
Nate Hun is Cambodian-American and was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. In his early youth, Mr. Hun, developed a deep appreciation for Cambodian movies and music. His interests led him to collaborate with Maya and Rotanak Oum in creation of CVMA.

Maya Oum
Secretary, Co-founder
Maya Oum was born in the United States and first came to Cambodia in 2009 in search of original Cambodian music. She realized early that beyond simply discovering this music, she also wanted to bring it to the awareness of other people. In pursuit of this she made an early financial investment that gave the CVMA the chance to grow in it's early days.

Morokoth Keo
Project Assistant
Morokoth Keo lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Mr. Keo is a Cambodian oldies music aficionado. He works part time as a project assistant to help us with synced lyrics online. Mr. Keo ensures correct spelling of lyrics before they are delivered to the music platforms. The majority of the lyrics are available on Apple Music and Spotify.

Christoph Bendix
Project Manager
Christoph Bendix was born in the United States and has been a passionate advocate for vintage Cambodian music preservation since 2007, in particular the preservation of the original physical media and the listener's experience through these artifacts, and the documentation of historical details and context. He first visited Cambodia in 2016 to connect with various arts and cultural organizations.
